Tracking numbers
It is important that you know how our Escrow system works since it is linked to the follow-up of the orders that are carried out on your site.
Keeping track of shipments allows us to ensure that the transaction was taken as satisfied by both parties since otherwise, your Trust balance will not be released.
Having registered the tracking number of the order and it is in delivered status, the customer has a minimum of 24 hours to follow up as satisfied or otherwise open a dispute.
This time can be configured for more details see here.
In case there is no customer feedback, the process will be terminated.
The tracking number, also known as a guide number, is a term commonly used by postal service companies and online stores.
This provides the possibility of keeping track of all movements or specific events of a package before it reaches its destination.
This information must always be provided to you by the courier service.
Within the Zenkipay platform in the directory Dashboard > Transactions, the different transactions will be listed.
Below are the ways in which you can upload the tracking numbers of your shipments. You can also load them from your system or independently through our API.
This section will be able to download (Download template) and upload (Upload tracking number) an excel file, which we provide you. This file only contains the transactions that are in the status Awaiting shipment, which is the status that precedes when the payment has already been triggered.
This file must be completed with the following data:
Header | Description |
---|---|
Order ID | Unique identifier of the transaction within Zenkipay |
Merchant Order ID | Unique identifier of the transaction on the merchant side |
Track number | Order Shipping Tracking Number |
Messaging code | Parcel service code |
messenger | Courier selector supported by the platform |
This file will be pre-filled where you will only have to enter the Track Number which is the equivalent of your tracking number and select your courier service from the Courier list, where it will automatically fill in the Courier code field with its corresponding code.
In case your courier service is not listed, don’t worry. You can leave the Courier and Courier code fields blank and leave the job to us. 😉
The platform is capable of giving feedback in case we had a problem at the time of loading, allowing the transactions with which there was a conflict to be downloaded to be corrected and then reloaded.
Within Dashboard > Transactions the transactions are listed. It is possible to see the details of these by clicking on one.
For transactions with status Awaiting shipment when viewing the details of the transaction in the Tracking number section
you can add the tracking number of the order, for this you must select your courier service and add the tracking number to provide the tracking of this order.
NOTE: You can delete, edit or even add more than one tracking number as many times as you need, as long as the status of the order allows it and the guide is not in Delivered, Failed, or Completed.
It is possible to add the tracking numbers of the order automatically from our supported e-commerce.
To do this, the order must meet the following criteria.
- The order must be in Processed / Paid status.
- The order should have been processed with Zenkipay.
